Cbank sees Russian banks’ profit at 1.2–1.5 tln rbl in 2023

MOSCOW, Mar 7 (PRIME) -- The profit of Russian banks can amount to 1.2–1.5 trillion rubles in the entire 2023 under the basic scenario, as seen by PRIME in the central bank’s materials on Tuesday.

In 2024, the profit is expected at 1.2–1.7 trillion rubles.

The regulator also said that Russians’ individual deposits with the banks will rise by 6–11%, and corporate deposits will grow by 10–15% in 2024.
